A suit cared for, worn for years

A good suit doesn't ask for much. A little care, a few small habits, and it keeps moving with you for years, not seasons. Here's how we look after ours.

The knit is built to take a beating, sun, salt, sand, the long drive home. But the difference between a suit that lasts and one that fades early usually comes down to a handful of easy things.

Rinse, don't wait

Salt and chlorine are the only real enemies. A cool freshwater rinse after the water, even just under the tap, does most of the work. No rush, no fuss, just don't let it dry stiff with the sea still in it.

Dry flat, out of the sun

Lay it flat in the shade rather than hanging it in direct sun. Heat is what tires elastane out over time; a little patience here is what keeps the shape years down the line.

Worn in, never worn out.

Do these few things and the suit ages the right way, softer, more yours, still holding its shape. That's the whole point of making one well. (moody by design)
